What is the Hydro - Microdermabrasion Facial?
The Hydro-Microdermabrasion Facial by Park Slope Laser Aesthetic Center is a skincare treatment aimed to correct skin texture, as well as correct skin imperfections. Microdermabrasion is a type of deep exfoliation that helps to reduce the appearance of imperfections such as blemishes and wrinkles, but can also help reduce mild acne or acne damage.
This treatment is performed on moist, prepped skin from Bio-Therapeutic. With removing the topmost layer, the skin is stimulated to produce new cells, thus giving you a fresh and rejuvenated look. These treatments can also unclog pores, thanks to the exfoliation and suction that removes dirt & the dead skin cells.
An added benefit is that microdermabrasion increases the effectiveness of lotions and creams by removing obstructions from pores. Note that you might need more than one treatment in order to get the full benefits of microdermabrasion treatments.

What can I expect from the Hydro-Microdermabrasion Facial?
The skin care treatment process includes:

A hydro-microdermabrasion treatment is safer and more comfortable for sensitive skin types but also abrasive enough for the rejuvenation your skin needs. Please note, as it is a somewhat abrasive treatment, some clients may see redness for the first one to two days after treatment. Plan at least a week ahead if you are preparing for an event.
